Full Earth Over Moon

The full Earth is over the lunar north pole as Clementine completes mapping orbit 102 on March 13, 1994. The large crater at the bottom of the image is Plaskett at 180 degrees W, and 82 degrees N. It is a clear day over Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. The angular separation between lunar horizon and Earth has been reduced for illustration purposes.
